Due to the research & development of our camera kits we are able to get to areas within pipeline of all sizes, that others simply cannot reach.
We are able to produce a bespoke camera for your requirements if an off-the-shelf solution is unable to meet your needs.
We consider the engineer needs in the field by adding a phone/iPad/laptop charger on the kit.
Currently, we are working on new innovations excluding and including partnerships with other companies to make work life a little easier … watch this space…
The SPS gas camera hired service team are inspection teams at their best, they are focused on gathering the best results out of every survey and completing on site solutions that have been designed to minimise excavation by maximising survey distance and to help the proactive design and planning of gas main replacement works.
We provide technical support to clients across the globe. Our engineers adhere to stringent Health & Safety standards, whilst providing on-going expert camera kit advice & support.
A dedicated Equipment Service Management Team (ESMT) provide loan equipment, annual service/asset management and emergency breakdown repair.
Our CCTV cameras are design to the highest specifications.
The kit was made to be portable for ease of transportation, it comes with a control unit, battery pack, camera, inspection rod, launch head & optional extras (see spec sheets).
Our coils are manufactured in the UK to our specification, they are designed with a memory flex centre, so once they leave the cage they automatically go straight into the main. The coils are also traced from A-B (the whole length of the coil)
The light weight, long life battery pack has been developed to last up to 6 months, although there are variations if required.
This robot can help you get to places no man is able to. Operated by remote control we are able to use this to source any leaks or blockages.
To enable you to see the pipeline from all aspects, we are able to get closer to the source of the problem.
Our screens have 1024 x 768 resolution to provide you with the clarity you need to choose the appropriate solution. All our screens are daylight visible for better use outside.

Utility engineers can watch the inspection on a monitor throughout the process.
The Peli case is hard wearing and practical for onsite inspections, with LED panel and USB chargers to keep engineers connected.
The small compact gas camera kit, is light weight, waterproof and hard wearing, suitable for all terrains.
The camera can be fed through a directional launch tube when seated on an existing hydrant.

OUR ONSITE INSPECTIONS PRODUCE:
1: The inspection of internal pipework, determine methods of replacement, pin point blockages or points of interest to within 20mm.
2. A more in-depth diagnosis of in-pipe obstructions, gas leakage, water ingress, poor pressure, and to assist in repair and emergency situations nationwide and internationally.
3. Signifcant improvement in the rate of pipe replacement.
4. Precise location of joints, defects and interference, documented via images and diagrams.
A network of experienced support engineers ready to assist clients throughout the UK and distributors around the globe.
Whether working from a classroom environment, or in the field at a live-gas operation, our engineers work to the most stringent of safety standards and are able to provide expertise, knowledge and support on the best options for utilising and effectively managing our products.
Whilst we are available to operate cameras as part of our service, training is also provided to those who purchase a CCTV camera.
We also offer additional training services to employees to ensure those operating them are able to do so with accuracy.
Working across the gas and water utility sectors, we have encountered an array of blockages and leakages, all of which have been detected!
Introducing the pan and tilt camera, searching and finding a poor joint within a water main. It has the capability of moving 360 degrees around the joint.
A blockage is located in a 20mm pipe using a CCTV water service camera.

A discovery was made by SPS Ltd because the client didn’t expect to see a 55mm dupont main reducing to 40mm, because it didn’t appear on their original drawings.
A CCTV survey was undertaken on a live pipeline water main, under pressure, to assess the condition and material type inside.

We only use the best materials for our cameras. Scratch resistant Sapphire lenses as opposed to plastic casing, ensures the camera lasts longer with a crystal clear picture. Each camera is also pressure tested up to 16 bar.
We use the latest technology available in camera sensors, giving us capabilities to develop smaller cameras to film inside narrow pipelines.
Our cameras systems are designed so each part is interchangeable, this means parts can be shared or repaired without removing the whole kit from the field.
Directional microphones ensure water leaks can be found with precision. They are so accurate that on-screen spectrograms are not required. Our hydrophone can detect different frequency leaks via gain control.
On site projects can throw up many anomalies, with most standard CCTV cameras being unable to provide a solution. We can develop purpose built cameras for any job and have done so for clients whilst on site.
Our reports not only provide measurements, but images of the surrounding area so the utility teams know exactly the point at which they ought to be working.
The SPS Ltd cameras can be used for much more then water and gas, they can be used for city fibre and electric ducts to find blockages and record the evidence.
We can repair any water or approved gas camera system. Our rapid response service is available 24/7. If we are unable to repair the kit onsite, we will leave you with another fully operational kit, until your system is ready, so the job is not delayed!
All of our CCTV cameras are built in England, ensuring manufacturing standards are high and each product goes through a rigorous quality control process.
Our products and services are hard to beat, due to our constant innovation to help solve pipeline issues quickly. Surveying a location could possibly save you thousands on unnecessary excavations, time & manpower.
Our services extend to out of hours and we are available 24/7, 365 days a year, we can be onsite within hours to help source a gas or water pipeline leak or blockage.
Working with field engineers we constantly strive to produce innovative products, in order to make work life easier and much more cost effective for gas and water utility companies.
Our services are available worldwide, we can be with you within a matter of minutes or hours, depending on where you need us.
